The University of New South Wales offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate study courses and well as postgraduate research degrees. There are over 46,000 students, including 11,700 international students studying at UNSW. UNSW has world class laboratories and leading edge technology second to none.
It’s not all work. UNSW looks after its international students from their arrival at the airport to helping them find on campus or off campus accommodation. Students are helped to settle in the Australian culture and there is a lively social life full of sports, concerts and excursions. There is an ultra modern life style centre and facilities for diverse faiths.
The safety of UNSW students is paramount. There are shuttle buses, security guards and security posting across the campus. Students are given assistance to remember self protective behaviours such as not carrying lots of cash when out in the evening, securing doors and windows when leaving their accommodation and keeping valuables such as laptops and IPods out of sight at home and when walking around, especially in the evening.
