Established in 1982 by John Martin Cass, the JMC Academy was originally founded in Sydney to meet the demand for qualified professionals in the entertainment technology industry. From day one, the JMC Academy has led the way in music and entertainment education and was the first private college in Australia to be accredited in the fields of Audio Engineering, Digital Television and Digital Multimedia.

Today, the JMC Academy is Australia’s leading private education and training provider for the Creative Industries, offering Higher Education programs in Digital Film & Television Production, Digital Media and 3D Animation, Audio Engineering and Sound Production, Popular Music and Performance, and Entertainment Business Management. All courses are available at a Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree level.

JMC Academy Sydney Campus

The JMC Academy’s Sydney campus is conveniently located in Surry Hills, just a 5 minute walk away from Central Railway Station (Sydney’s main station). Click here for a location map.

The JMC Academy is located in a creative arts hub, surrounded by galleries, fashion design houses, and graphic design, advertising and media outlets.
