Description: Founded in 1923, Carey is an international school based on Christian principles, and welcomes families of all faiths with warmth and respect. The School is a member of the International Baccalaureate Organisation, the Associated Public Schools of Victoria, and the European Council of International Schools. Facilities: The School is situated on two campuses, at Kew in the Eastern suburbs 8 kms from the CBD, which caters for students from 3-year-old kindergarten to Year 12 (Victorian Certificate of Education and International Baccalaureate) and at Donvale, 30 kms from the CBD, catering for 3-year-old kindergarten to Year 6, after which all students transfer to the Kew campus.

A 14 ha sports complex at Bulleen, also in the Eastern suburbs, provides extensive facilities including ovals, athletics tracks, a gymnasium and indoor swimming and diving pools. The School also has an Outdoor Education facility in Gippsland in Eastern Victoria, Camp Toonallook.

Carey assists with homestay arrangements and monitors placements throughout the student's time at the School. In addition, nearby Wrixon House accommodates many of Carey's students from overseas.
