Description: The University of Adelaide is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious universities. Established in 1874, it is a member of the 'Group of Eight', which comprises Australia's leading research universities.

The 14,000-strong student population includes more than 1,800 international students from 70 countries. There is a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs to choose from, combined with state-of-the-art facilities and a vibrant student life.

The University of Adelaide has developed an international reputation for the quality education it provides to students. It has one of the best student-to-staff ratio of all Australian universities, ensuring students receive individual attention from lecturers and tutors. Facilities: The University of Adelaide has four campuses, which all enjoy modern resources and equipment. With more than two million volumes, the Barr Smith Library, located at the University's North Terrace campus, is one of the biggest and most comprehensive libraries in the Southern Hemisphere.

For accommodation, there are five residential colleges just ten minutes walk from the University's main campus at North Terrace.
