Description: With over 32, 000 students, the University of Western Sydney (UWS) is the fifth largest university in Australia. Over 2, 800 international students from 70 different countries choose to study at UWS each year.
UWS is a young, energetic and rapidly growing university with six campuses located in Sydney's Greater West region (Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Parramatta and Penrith). Each campus has a distinctive character and offers small class sizes and excellent access to academic staff.

Facilities: The University offers international students a range of accommodation options. These vary from campus to campus. On-campus accommodation is offered on our Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury and Penrith campuses. Alternatively, the University can assist students with off-campus accommodation requirements.
Services: The University provides a variety of support services to students including counselling, learning assistance, chaplaincy, student tutoring and academic mentoring. In addition to these services a range of specific services is provided to international students to enable them to maximise their chances of academic success. The University provides a number of International Student Advisors who provide advice, support, referral and information to students in areas such as visa extensions, family support and academic support. Other services include: the provision of pre-departure information, an accommodation service, an airport reception program, and a mentor program on arrival in Australia.

Specialisation: UWS offers a range of internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in more than 100 study areas. Study Abroad programs of a minimum of one semester of study are also available.
