Who can be a Study Abroad student?
Study Abroad students may come from any overseas institution. They are non-award, fee-paying students who study at Victoria University for one or two semesters. The current fee is AUD$7500 per semester based on a full-time study load.
Students must study between 36 and 48 credit points per semester to fulfil their student visa requirements. However, students must also ensure they are fulfilling their home institution requirements. The benefit of this system is that students do not necessarily have to study vocational subjects.
They may pursue any studies that meet the education requirements of their home institution.
Entry requirements
To be part of the Study Abroad program, students must have:
* completed one year of tertiary study;
* a 2.5 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale; and
* documentation supporting English language proficiency if the student’s first language is not English.
